Robert Reich is an amazing human being and has walked the talk of democracy and income inequality before it was ever a popular subject. He got it years ago!
I'm curious what you would think about this film. It is really about teaching and aging. And I hope it presents a fair lens to view Reich and this moment in history.
Well, I will check it out in NYC in June. I think the most important thing we can do to resist dictatorship is to put art out into the world. So thank you and again forgive my response. While I appreciate that Reich is outspoken generally on my side, my view of his academic work and policy....
Proscriptions are informed by his writings from the 90s, which I found at the time to be really just a type of pedestrian liberalism which assumes things like "education" will solve the problems of capitalism and keep everyone prosperous. A view ai fundamentally disagree with.
Thank you for sharing but I’m not going to a movie theater anytime soon. Too much crap floating around TX at the moment. I hope you stream it somehow because Mr. Reich is genius and the outspoken person we need right now.
I have admired Robert Reich and his economic expertise, as well as his very intelligent worldview. I know I will enjoy his documentary “ Last Class”. He is a brilliant man.
