Absolutely loving it. I read some earlier when I was sat in the sun on Primrose Hill whilst reading about the fall of the seventh star at that spot, so that was pretty fun!
Well I've been listening to the album in the background whilst reading so getting the full experience. It's a great book - really enjoying the chapters about his brother in London.

YES!
#MoodyBlues have always been a favorite of mine since the early days.
I stumbled across this incredible album here in the US a couple of years back.
Once upon a time there was a wonderful "Carrie" in my life.
Hearing this passage from WoW simply brought me to my knees.
I'm in London and am enjoying all the parts with his brother going through the city! I was looking up Horsell last night and wondering if it was worth a visit π
I literally just finished reading it. Amazing book, and I'd say no adaptation (I haven't heard the album you refer to, so that excluded) has fully captured what the book is.
if you want more when you're done, there's an amazingly well-done authorized sequel called "The Massacre of Mankind". it's really impressive in how it matches the original tone and authorial voice.
Lol yeah, i first read it thinking it was "Invisible Man by Ralph Ellison's" but then realized it was the science fiction one by Wells. Needless to say it was a pleasant surprise mad funny book tbh

I got the same version a few months ago and had a blast reading through it.
The covers are works of art in their own right.
The chances of anything coming from Mars are a million to one.
