Just so you know, jazz is not dead. It's just not mainstream. But it doesn't mean it's not good, valuable, meaningful, inspiring or influential. Jazz is much more than Davis, Coltrane, or Hancock. Step out of your comfort zone, and listen to some contemporary jazz.
