If I were to download a hundred books via one of these archive services to train my own AI system I could get legally nuked from orbit. These guys think they're cool if they lie about seeding. 🤷

This does not surprise me one bit. Prior to all the AI stuff getting trendy, no one was interested in pirating my books. Now they’re on all the piracy sites. It’s not the books that these pirates want, it’s training data.
