The American Community Survey (ACS) is used for so many basic, fundamental statistics, like:
How many people live in each state or congressional district?
Are they married? Do they have children?
Are they employed?
What's their income?
What health insurance do they have?
And now it’s offline

BRFSS & YRBS microdata are back *online* with transgender Qs, but with no codebook or questionnaire
Meanwhile ACS microdata are *offline*, but the codebook & questionnaire are online.
I can’t make sense of this
ACS does not include questions about gender identity. The sex question is binary male/female.
Is this about race? Sexual orientation? Hard to say.
