ASM did a spotlight article on me last February and it has also been taken down as “under review”. Other spotlight articles are still up so not sure how else to interpret this besides the obvious. I'm so sorry this happened. I'm a writer and have done a lot of content for academic societies and other orgs. On many occasions I've called out content teams for only featuring Black for BHM (or LGBTQ+ researchers only for Pride...) and seem to view that as their "quota fulfilled" for the year.
