And here’s a simple solution to this problem. It would put Alabama in make it a 16 team playoff next year if they would’ve had that this year Alabama would be in so would Miami, South Carolina and Ole Miss.

I used to buy into the conference supremacy thing back in the BCS days. My theory was I wanted SEC to always look good so Florida would win any tiebreaker in a scenario to get 1 of 2 spots. But honestly now I am just too sick of Bama & Georgia. I always root against them.

For me I am completely over it. I don’t feel I need to cheer SEC teams to prop up a “theoretical” 9-3 Gators. The answer is win more. Back in the 12-1 days and needing that 2 seed over Michigan I needed that “conference supremacy”. Now I just want UGA and Bama to lose every game.

Also Bama, Ole Miss, So Carolina none of them are all that good. I would honestly say that 7-5 Florida has a realistic shot to knock off any of those teams if they played next week. These are average teams and nobody should be sad they aren’t in a playoff.
