We need to start calling
all Trumpβs moves in a way that reflects Republication inactionβ¦ Republican chaos, Republican tariffs, Republican tax cuts for rich. Republicans need to own what Trump is doing since they are not opposing it.
I think we have to continue to focus on the power grabs and destruction of democracy and move away from policy discussions (albeit great ones) that affect only portion of Americans. Most can unite on hating oligarchs
Would need to be extremely clear on what that is. Youβd still have the blare horns screaming βsocialistsβ and βcommiesβ. Educating the electorate is key. It would require media buy-in and the use of 3rd grade vernacular to cut through.
uhmmm, you didn't actually answer that question in your post.
didn't get me wrong, I'm a monthly monetary supporter of DD, but this is just click bait to a basically pointless article.
like how America views all problems, those are symptoms of the larger issue. keep worrying about symptoms and you'll never cure the disease.
Give Americans a reason to vote for you and you don't have to focus on fair elections,a vast majority will vote for you, and getting the word out is easy.
so far Democrats still don't have a "manifesto" they can point to, just a lot of sound bites.
Give us a Project 2026 for their grand plan to reverse course, and actually make things better than before Trump.
And not just that, but we also need to win local elections this year and 2026 (especially New Jersey and Virginia), including state legislative elections, statewide elections, judicial elections, local elections, and any ballot measures along the way. Plus, Dems need to recruit candidates.
Too many times in the past Dems have left seats uncontested, or even if they are recruited, they're underfunded. And that is not acceptable. Recruiting Dem candidates up and down the ballot including local races along with them being well funded can have a reverse coattail effect.
βOnlyβ 46% of Americans think Trump is doing a good job. That means βONLYβ there is a whooping 159,889,998 million American people who are complete idiots! So this is good?AND WHATabout the 90million Dems who did not vote! These are the major problems!Only Bernie, AOC,Warren,Brooker are fighting! join
I think the number of people who were eligible to vote but didn't bother in 2024 is about 110 million according to @susanwilson.bsky.social - but we do have to factor in mis/disinformation, barriers, suppression, provisional ballots that didn't count, not counting those who didn't turn 18 yet.

Choose multipatty system!
Multiparty System (e.g., Europe)
Pros:
Diverse Representation:
A multiparty system allows for a broader representation of the electorate's views, including smaller or niche interests.
Encourages coalition governments, which can lead to more collaborative and consensual policy-making.
Flexibility:
Voters have more choices, which can lead to greater satisfaction with the democratic process.
A wider range of parties can introduce fresh ideas and policies, promoting political innovation.
Cons:
Instability:
Coalition governments can be unstable, as disagreements between parties can lead to government collapses or frequent elections.
Let's focus on 2026 first and then we can deal with the 2028 cycle after that.
