Canada has been inundated with a high frequency of polls that favour Poillievre, ever since PP became CPC leader, and coincident with PP's permanent campaign mode

ONLY now that the polls reveal PP falling behind, do you try to rally doubt by questioning PP-unfavorable polls

Frustration with the polling machinery.
Outside election periods they're an overpromoted, shallow representation of mood.
Inside election periods they're largely misunderstood since they're inadequate at the riding level.

Political polls are not a true gauge of how people will vote or who is “leading”, they’re a fake vibe check at best & manipulative propaganda at worst. Who are they asking? Are they telling you what they think they should say, like focus groups do? Why even share these nebulous stats? To manipulate.
