This is something I’m struggling with right now. I’m chronically online and am trying to cut back to preserve my mental health. It’s hard though when the news moves so fast. It’s tough to stay informed (which seems vital in such a dangerous time) and also stay sane.

To preserve our humanity, I think it's important to be offline more. The truth is we can get all the news we need in one or two sittings a day, and then decide what to do about it, one day at a time. Platforms like this one can be helpful, but like everything else in life, dosage matters!

My answer is to remind myself what matters, so I am louder about fun and "how about that!" posts. I need that balance for the roughly-equal amount of "what fresh hell is this?!" news.
