Been great for me since gw4, tends to get subbed around 70 minutes with cleans too. Benched him for his 1 and 0 pointers. Plays in a good team and on setpieces too.

Digne always hurt me in the past, but this season his underlying data seems to be a lot better? And from watching Villa it feels like the left side gets used way more than it did last year, but that’s just a feeling. Slightly different system with Rogers being more involved as opposed to wingers?

2. Hype train gathers steam so u pop him in
3. He plays first 1/2 games, gets you an assist. Nice.
4. Starts getting subbed early, scores random own goal
5. Gets sent off

Villa leaks goals so no clean sheet points. Watkins on a drought and Villa scoring drop means Digne xGI conversion rate has been lower. Have had him since week 1- mostly on bench now.

I can't find it now but there was a roulette wheel graphic made up for his topsy turvy scores; one week 18 point haul, following week own goal, etc. Still, 4.7m does seem a bargain of sorts.

Every one expected Digne to be a part time player when Emery arrived, but he has made the position his own. A far better asset, with the possibility of attacking returns.

I got him because I think Villa's defensive numbers are better than their record, and he has a couple assists and could easily have had a couple more

I have 5 playing defenders to rotate though so I'm not starting every week

The art of trolling in fpl cannot be simply explained. Cards, injuries,suddenly dropped, miraculous returns, and the art of being an obvious bench on the weeks he hauls. He really has it all. His timing is impeccable. Even now he’s going to get us coz he’s probably a good pick many of us wont make.🤔

It starts with Digne, it always does, but before you know it you’ll suddenly find you fancy bringing in Reece James too, or you might notice that DCL has some tasty upcoming fixtures.
