I wish the fact that they are going through non-competitive renewals forcing POs to screen grants that have been previously peer-reviewed and approved by council was shocking. Just proves they want to destroy NIH, biomedical research, and torture staff at the institutes along the way.

NIH has been intentionally holding up grants including non-competitive renewals.
This “pause” should be evident in Reporter data over the next week, but I posted about the beginning of it yesterday.
This is now ending because “NIH” has put a process in place to evaluate grants.
