Bavasi was one of the worst offenders. Sandy actually had a lesser known contract dispute before the 1964 season where the Dodgers, likely Bavasi, planted a false version of events in the papers to make Sandy seem greedy and ungrateful which, considering he's Jewish, is textbook antisemitism.
