As an American, I've tried the ones from Canada and no thank you. I do not like ketchup enough to eat it in chip form. Like the first couple were good but then it slowly got more and more gross
Ahahaha I can totally see that, actually. I wonder if this is a case where the bag sizes make an impact? I feel like CA & US chip bags would be larger than UK ones, so the flavor would outstay its welcome...
No.
While I have never had Walkers, I've had Lays, which are presumably the same, and I consider those to be the worst name brand crisp.
And I only vaguely recall having ketchup flavoured crisps once before, which I ended up throwing away.
Brits are like "These fat Americans in their lazy boy recliners laying about eating crisps called "lays" because of how fat they are they can't even sit up to eat them, we shall call them "Walkers" as a protest akin to when they threw our tea in the ocean"
Ketchup is one of the default ones in Canada. They vary in vinegar intensity, but otherwise they're decent. I'd undoubtedly take Cheese & Onion or Roast Chicken Walkers over any Ketchup variants, mind you.
Packaging is very similar to Ketchup Flavoured Lay's Potato Chips in Canada. Seems "Walker's" is the same company and just has a different name in the UK… wonder if they taste the same?
Ketchup is a weird one.… most folks are OK with it but if you have a bag at a party someone is going to inhale it.

2. Open walkers tomato ketchup crisps, crush and add half the bag to the pot noodle.
3. Nirvana

I wonder if they taste pretty much the same?
