TB is contagious and is spread through the air when someone with active TB coughs, sneezes, or spits.

TB symptoms: persistent cough (3+ weeks), coughing blood, chest pain, fatigue, fever, night sweats, weight loss. If you notice these, especially in outbreak areas, seek medical care immediately. Early diagnosis saves lives.

I’m more frightened by the silence from Authorities. I’m in Melbourne, Australia and saw this news first thing at 7:30AM. It’s now nearly 6:30PM and mainstream media is silent. Politicians silent. People on Bluesky mostly silent.

It’s like I’m screaming in a nightmare.
