I guess this is a controversial topic but is Mac and cheese a normal thanksgiving dish?

I didn’t grow up with it being one but it randomly got incorporated somewhere in my life and I’ve never looked back

It’s regional and cultural. I know people who would go without turkey before they went without mac and cheese, and I also know people who have never even considered it for Thanksgiving.
