My Spousie took a bad turn and is in the hospital again. Unable to move, only able to lay on left side. We can no longer transfer to wheelchair, and had to call on a stretcher ambulance with 2 strong backs to go.

Bingo, I’m so sorry to hear of this serious turn of events. Heartfelt prayers and good vibes sent out to you and your loved one as you navigate this difficult time.
I'm so sorry to hear this, Bingo. I hope you know how much we all love you (and Spousie) and that if there is anything you need, just let us know. We are here for you. ❤️
Oh Bingo ~ my heart goes out to you.
Just know that all your Minterland friends are here for you.
Wish I was closer to you so I could give you a real live hug.
Sending you lots of virtual hugs !!! 🤗♥️🤗
Bingo, we're saddened to hear about this terrible turn of events. I hope the Doctors can find a precipitating, treatable, and reversible cause (e.g., infection) for her abrupt decline. You & your wife have our love, support, and prayers. 💛🙏
Bingo, when you decide what you need, we are here. My family is dealing with some Parkinson's and it's pretty all consuming. You can only do what you can do. Lots of love.
Thanks, friend. We could have possibly rode out the dementia, but the paralysis made it too dangerous to keep going. It is taking a while to find a place that can cope with both issues. 🤞
Thanks, cos that’s the hard part. I made a middle-of-the-night list of the things we couldn’t do anymore that made it unsafe. When my mind spins out, it calms me down.
I just 🙏that they can find the right meds to keep the pain and fear away. And that they are kind.
I guess there are no guarantees in life but this world, despite its divisions, still has plenty of kind people in it. I hope Karma kicks in for you. Kind people deserve kind people.
We here at Chateau Minette are sending you powerful good Juju !
Of all the chapters in our book of life, sometimes the pages being written in real time are the most painful.
Just keep in mind there are better chapters to come, and you are the Author.
Stay strong Bingo !
We are all here for you.
Sorry to hear this. It must be so hard for you. Great to hear that you’re taking strength and comfort from your friends here on 🦋. I always enjoy reading your posts so I hope my photo of Charlie helps you a little
It’s hard to be the survivor. Life is real different without them just breathing in the other room. I hope your grief has changed into to your happier memories. They are so woven into our lives.
I'm a new follower...there I was telling about my feelings. I had no idea you are going through what you are..I am soo very sorry ! 😐 It does take time. I hope you work out with getting help from a nursing home ❤️
The dementia has become severe. We had 2 good weeks at home before there was a rapid slide with hallucinations and big mood swings. Couldn’t leave the catheter alone, refusing meds, paranoid.
Hit me like a ton of bricks during a tornado warning, that we couldn’t move to shelter in the hallway.
It’s a heartbreak when you acknowledge that you can no longer keep your loved one safe. We’re looking for an appropriate nursing home, which takes time.
It’s going to take time to adjust to the new altitude. There’s plans we didn’t get done that I’ll try to finish.
My dear #Minterland friends, I’m devastated yet OK. Gonna keep on breathing in and out. Keep on taking one step after another. Got plenty to keep busy with, as the Spouse was always the Calculator and I was Spellcheck. Going to do a major downsizing.
Thank you all for being here for us. It’s more comfort than you know. Making me laugh, seeing our kitty friends like Tess, Bobcat, Cricket’s transformation, Baby Ralph and Ruby and Bernie the Dog Down Under…and so many more. I wish I had a better update.
I’m looking at all the sickroom supplies with my downsizing eye and thinking i’m no spring chicken myself.😂Maybe hide the patient lift among the cat trees. Maybe turn the spare room into a sick room.
If i keep stuff, i end up never needing it again. Get rid of it, i need it the next dang day. 🤷♂️
My friend I am so sorry to hear this news about your dear spouse. Always remember there are no wrong decisions that are made out of love. The path is changing but the journey continues. Please know on this journey the Minter community is here to love you and support you in any way you need. Xxoo
Awww, Bingo, I am sooo sorry! I will be praying for you and spousie. Please know we are here for you. Also, let us know if there is anything that you need...Hang in there. 🙏
Omg Bingo! I am truly sorry that you are both going through this. It’s really tough when you know your care isn’t enough. As a daghter, and granddaughter, it was really harsh, but as a spouse? I can not even begin to imagine. We are all of us, here, if you need ANYTHING! Keeping you close to my

I’m blessed by great neighbors and my 🦋clan. Maisy and Skitteryboo are keeping my lap full. Spousie was able to talk on the phone today.
