What Norwegian musician and producer Michael Caplin did with the original cassette recording of Steely Dan's Great Lost Song "The Second Arrangement" is just staggering. 260 hours of work apparently went into this. Time very well spent, I think. #typo

The actual song wouldn't make my SD top five but as a genuine Dan afficionado I'll take any new material anytime time
From Gaucho I'm really fond of Time out of Mind and Gaucho and Hey Nineteen are pretty good.
The Second Arrangement sounds much more like the great first and second Fagen solo albums which are also peerless
