When I was out in CA, I was wondering if I needed to be on rattlesnake alert while hiking, so I looked at a couple of resources as a precaution before heading out.

Do we really need to tell people not to touch a rattlesnake?

And is sucking the venom out a real thing? Who’s going to do that😱
