On the three days that I see counseling clients, I’m not great at getting out for a walk. I’d like to change that! A beautiful spring day💐☺️

This rings true for me. Cracked open with a desire to explore a deeper and more fulfilling life. Everything was going great, or so I thought. Still sucks that tragedy broke me open.

If you hear me sneezing all night, then the pollen count was too high to hang my comforter on the line today😱 It will smell good though🤣

The Tulips stand tall and proudly display their beauty, as the daffodils begin to fade and the peonies patiently wait in the background. It’s the season of growth and every morning I’m filled with awe☺️

The dreaded question about my wife from someone that doesn’t know. Even 8 years later. It’s a freeze. The awkward reactions when you’re honest, so you wonder how to put it. Recently when asked; I paused & replied ‘No. I’m widowed’. So we’re they. We understood . Maybe I’ll use it more often. #grief

We don’t get pine cones this big in New England🤷‍♂️

Should I save the leftover 3 pieces of bacon for 23 yo, or do I save them for a tasty breakfast treat🤔 Bet he sniffs it out when I hide it🤣

Spiders were busy last night.

For helping to clarify what I don’t want to be☺️

My haphazard planning skills and poor sense of time, are most evident with meal planning as I’m eating dinner at 9:00. Again!😱

It’s green season💦🍀

Day 1 back to work after 10 days and transition from west coast to east coast time has made it a struggle to drag myself out of bed in the morning 😱☕️

So…When someone you know loses a loved one, does it still bring tears thinking about the heartache they’ll experience. Takes one to know one. #grief #widowed.

When I was out in CA, I was wondering if I needed to be on rattlesnake alert while hiking, so I looked at a couple of resources as a precaution before heading out. Do we really need to tell people not to touch a rattlesnake? And is sucking the venom out a real thing? Who’s going to do that😱

Spring showed up while I was away!🌞 morning stroll through the yard.

Oops 😬 My yarrow and snapdragons look like they visited the CA desert with me. I knew entrusting my 22 yo with seedling care was a gamble. I’m sure I can still start more yarrow, but no snapdragons this year unless I find some already started.

Come along on a quick trip through Artist Drive
