The cost of cleaning up toxic forever chemical pollution (i.e., PFAS) could reach more than £1.6 trillion across the UK and Europe over a 20-year period, an annual bill of £84 billion.
That’s way less than what CO₂ removal (CDR) would cost. If we’re not cleaning up PFAS, we’re not doing CDR.
