The number of births with a congenital heart condition increased from 56.5 per 100k births pre pandemic to 65.4 per 100k births after pandemic year 1 - a 16% increase.

(I’m biased here, as a "rubella kid" - mostly a hearing loss in my case.)
Those births did not change for the duration of the study, suggesting that the increase in fetal heart defects was not due to a disruption of health services
