Kobo (Japanese owned) has a subscription service, Kobo Plus, which, unlike Amazon's KU, allows participating authors to sell their ebooks elsewhere AND put them in libraries.
Aussies, Kobo owns our Booktopia ebook & paperback store.
According to another article, its trading again as of this month.
Nook, Kobo Plus, 24 Symbols, Hoopla & Everand
If anyone's used any of these, feel free to weigh in!
(I'm aware of them as an author, & I like them because none want my ebook exclusively & all let me have ebooks in libraries, unlike Kindle Unlimited).

KU alternatives; Nook, Kobo Plus, Hoopla, 24 Symbols & Everand.
Formats: B&N's got all, Kobo & Apple just ebook & audio.
For paperbacks, I prefer indie bookstores, which the site linked below helps with finding.
