Why ya'll acting like it's a weird request? Yeah apps store prefs per OS user, but also having profiles within app is A THING. My lazy intern has to choose his name when launching AVID. And in Resolve all user prefs can be saved as a preset and loaded. SO I GUESS IT'S USEFUL AND NORMAL TO WANT

If the account is locked behind an email auth to download those preferences, then yes I agree. But then you have your answer on why they won't implement this kind of stuff.
For this usecase there's no debate, profile are so great.
I got tunnel vision'd on the user management.
I can't explain why they don't do that then (excluding soft where greed is the main reason for any choices).
