yeah, Clyburn being this openly pissed is basically solid confirmation that AOC was correct (in that there was an understanding, and Schumer stabbed them in the back).

For everything else that I'd critique him for, Clyburn wields a big ass stick within the party. Schumer is headed for a bruising

I have a hard time reading this with a straight face, frankly. Clyburn is the oldest of the old guard in the House. His credibility here is non-existent and it’s frankly a little insulting that he’s trying to act as if he’s any better than any of the Senate traitors. Pot meets kettle.

I get it, but this can’t just be about one very revealing and indicative vote, it’s the general culture of timidity and stagnation within Democratic leadership that’s the problem. Clyburn is the epitome of that problem in almost every conceivable way.
