This was why I stopped playing Worlds :c The inability of, in a not very story critical game, not to be able to just.. Join others anyway without having to drag them back to join you

Yeah, that was one of the things I hated about World too. It seemed they fixed it with Rise but now it’s back to the way it was in World, and that’s making me a little iffy on getting Wilds. I think I’ll still bite the bullet and get it eventually but we’ll see for sure.

Yeah I get you. I don't own Wilds, but if it works exactly the same as in World, the best experience is going to be in finding some patient folk that are willing to progress as a group, and won't make story progress in their off time. Easier said than done I think, but, it'd be worth it if you can

I've just been helping out friends with their quests because it has the same problem as Worlds/Rise in that there's no reason to do the end game grind until the inevitable Master Rank.

I mean, I'd enjoy it infinitely more if I had people to play with I think, but the problem is everyone's so far ahead or done with the story by now that I don't want them to sit around while I do the early game stuff

I mean that's entirely a self-imposed thing; nearly every monhun player is pretty used to friends joining at different times and helping them throughout the campaign x3
