DD-7 or DD-8 are kinda crazy in that it will do everything and act as a good looper. I always recommend as a "do it all" in a small footprint. if you have a specific delay style you're after there's great stuff tho but the DD-series stuff can scratch most itches
Like a fancy or basic one? The Boss Delays are nice. I swear by the MXR Carbon Copy, but I only use it to add to flour to the base to thicken up the tone.
You can never go wrong with EHX. All the pedals are still made in the USA, in sturdy metal cases, with great designs and circuits, and priced competitively with the flimsy imports. And, the mad scientist vibe is strong, they've invented some of the craziest pedals in the game.

I love this guy for delay. You can get some nice shimmer type sounds or complete pandemonium.
Then again, my board is only 5 pedals, including my tuner. Reverb, Delay, Preamp/Dirt, Compression.
Also, went through a bunch of comps, including Ross, and wasn’t happy till I got an 1176.

I think I fall in between — a digital pedal of each class.
