Nintendo could be doing what analogue is doing, making $250 a pop for modern versions of their old consoles, but they’re more concerned stopping people from making money on their retro catalogue than making money on their retro catalogue themselves.
Meanwhile Atari is like "We're reprinting 2600 and 7800 games, and re-releasing the consoles. Also here's a massive collection of our entire game history in order of release in a single cart/disc/download. If that isn't your speed, here's this other console with an SD card slot." *wink nudge*
