Represented. If you get more races consolidated under one organization instead of 4 or 5 different organizations, it’s easier to negotiate bigger TV deals and get your races on proper channels in the Americas and Asia.

Eventually, yeah. Pro cycling is dying commercially. Look at the number of races on the women’s calendar that have been cancelled this year. The TV demographic of cycling fans in most countries is getting older and whiter. I don’t think One Cycling is the answer, but something has to change.
Smaller one day and non-World Tour week long races will start to disappear, it’s probably going to be accelerated by global political trends towards government paying for fewer and fewer public services. That’ll make races even harder to host. Something needs to change. A central TV deal would help
