Bad things will still happen. Lives will be upended. But the coup, the quick strike to take over the government, is over. Trump lost, and the public is in the process of abandoning him. From me:

Yeah, what trump and his group of freaks have failed to grasp is that citizens of Russia, N. Korea, and Chyeena have been living under authoritarian rule for generations, and they’re used to it.

The angry, shouting, booing town halls against Republican Reps are certainly having an effect. They do not want to face the people and defend the indefensible.
They know millions are rising up and are very pissed off. They are finally feeling the fear of the people not just fearing Trump!
