Incredible loss for the Asheville community and the food world as a whole. The man was a titan.

Brian Canipelli, chef/owner of Cucina 24 restaurant in downtown Asheville, died suddenly on Thursday. Canipelli moved to Asheville in 2003 and was a James Beard Award nominee in 2016. He was in his mid-40s. The local food community is in shock, and our condolences go out to his family and friends.
