Saw in the post it looks like you'll be using AWS. I'm really curious how that's all budgeted out & for how far out it's budgeted for. Managing storage & accessability for 3D models and data has been an interesting problem I've been exploring recently & I'm really curious to see how you go about it!

This is a problem for us too- pricing on the cloud services is so unpredictable. Not ideal with our fixed project budgets. I'm unclear what the most sensible way forward is.

I'd be keen to understand the long-term costs for storage and curating, along with the carbon costings as it's something I will need to consider in my HER role. Not sure if @ads-update.bsky.social have had to consider such things
