oh when i got mine they stopped it because they said it appeared that i was recovering from a virus and then charged me for it because of that

all this after i told them so and they were like it is fine

and i was like if you think im ever getting another one again the odds are very low

Last year when I had all my trouble they told me if they went through with it and I needed another one I would have to pay for the second one and I was like then I won’t get one at all. Why would I get another one in less than a year of it was my first one?

they said after i did all the prep and they called to ask if i had concerns i was like im just getting over a stomach virus are you sure i shouldnt wait and they were like oh it's not a problem except it was to me when they forced me to pay 950 dollars because they didnt count it as routine

because i went in to do it and they saw that my intestines were something like i was getting over something and stopped the procedure midway and coded it as non routine

Here in Scotland we do bowel screening over 50 where we send a very small poo sample in the post and if they find blood in the sample you have a follow up colonoscopy.Probably saved my life in 2011.

Here in Canada it’s all covered by our universal healthcare. If they find anything, the snip it and send for a biopsy and results are forwarded to your family doctor. They may recommend follow up procedures on a scheduled basis. Mine are ~ every 3 years.

Yep. I can't get a colonoscopy because I have a family history and therefore it's not preventative but investigatory and I'll have to pay thousands. Gotta love America where Health is only for the Rich.
