For whatever reason, I've never found this room hard - there are much harder rooms for me in Farewell. For this room, I always count in my head for the waits, make small adjustments, and get there relatively quickly - only learned later that it was considered an infamous room
It's not the screen that caused me the most pain in Farewell, tbf. But then again, the final screen was specifically made to do so.

Every time I play it, this screen takes me more time than the rest of the chapter combined.
So the answer is it depends on how evil you're feeling on a given day
