How come it's GOG exclusive?
When searching for the game I noted some mentions of «in order to ensure that it remains DRM-free» but considering there's hundreds upon hundreds of DRM free games on Steam that seems like an out-of-context misquote.

Agreed. I get what GOG stands for, but skipping Steam is a huge wasted opportunity for them, especially considering the growing market segment of Steam Deck gamers. Steam can also be DRM-free. I won't buy on GOG. Fingers crossed for an eventual Steam release!

I'm loving the game itself, but 2 things stick out to me: 1. No cross buy for PS4/5 versions? I think this is the first non-AAA game I've bought that didn't give you both versions. 2. No platinum trophy? What gives? These are 2 things that would certainly improve sales and public image.

you guys used AI on the HD textures? :(, it was looking too smooth and weird and i had my doubts until i saw that castle on the background and was certain of it :( at least theres classic look Croc deserves better then AI, the controls are great, its fun,but he deserves hand made human made textures

Im with pixalated too, Its a shame cause theres so many things on this remaster that i liked but this feels pretty lazy and should not be endorsed by us or it will plague the industry more and more, first tomb raider, now Croc, Its really a shame :( that got me pretty desapointed with it

Button layout on Switch doesn't feel right – I would much prefer flip on A, jump on B, attack on Y, like in the original. Also, a nitpick on the camera – I think in most modern games it slowly gets behind character when moving forward so you don't have to constantly rotate it with the right stick.
