I cried for the first 10 mins & had to stop listening. Maybe because I hadn't heard any man talk about her like this.
Sometimes it feels like we live in parallel worlds & we on this side have given up on trying to explain how it is over here but we must live with that that other world's rules.

This was an incredibly moving and powerful couple of hours of radio. I found particularly moving the 2 ladies who chose to give their real names, may they find peace and power in their courage. The point about culpability to, was very sadly poignant.

But would every one of them be as steadfast in sticking to principles if it was one of their colleagues/friends/family accused?

The dignity and composure shown by Gisele Pelicot was an honour to read about. We could all hope that this trial will bring about changes to our culture and supposedly enlightened society. We will be shocked and appalled again but this moment in history has fundamentally changed us in some way.
