Whether you like Frey or not, his politics increasingly rely on being an Anti-Council figure. We're very unlikely to elect a council majority of Frey loyalists. So if productive relationships at city hall are your goal, you wouldn't choose a mayor who's backed himself into this political corner.

But there is one thing Steve and I agree on. For Minneapolis to move forward, we need a mayor and council who will work together. Of course, where Steve and I differ is whether we achieve that by getting a new council or a new mayor. (2/2)
