USAID is $200 per citizen year. We feed, care, millions with that $. It keeps China and other countries from having lone interest around the world. They view us as good guys. Less terrorism.

As an outsider (I'm observing from Europe, age 59), I'm not a fan of #trump, but the way we all see #USAID is that it's not a positive thing. It is in fact what has given the USA a very bad rep globally. The world could really do without it, and we would in fact thrive without its existence.
