I remember this vividly. I was 10 and very concerned about the hostages. I loved President Carter and came to despise Reagan quickly.

It was blatantly obvious. That subject was discussed even before Reagan took office. I remember it well. I remember going to a protest rally when the hostages were taken to photograph it. I followed it closely until they were released.

Republicans have always been willing to hurt America like elaborate with enemies in order to win presidential elections. It has been going on at least since the Vietnam war. It has never been punished and often has worked very well for them, so why would they stop?
