Green stuff is two-part epoxy. It hardens solid in 24h. Yeah, it's almost always used to sculpt custom bits or join separate parts. There's been a real surge of games that start with "plastic historical kits" and recommend you customize the crap out of them to the limits of your imagination.

genuinely a big regret I have is I didn't get into time-intensive nerd stuff until after I had kids. If you have tweens or teenagers PLEASE tell them about tabletop roleplaying games while they still have a chance to spend 8 hours at a time on a hobby
