after distrohopping again I've settled on EndeavourOS and am rly happy with it. That said, as an Arch user at heart, I still have to make life difficult for myself. So naturally I use Wayland on an Nvidia Optimus laptop.

Depends on the distro I think? If a Manjaro user says it I grimace a little bc Manjaro is, charitably put, a nightmare shitshow of a distro. But archiso and endeavour are basically just arch for people who have other things to do besides set up arch from scratch, so I think that's valid.

Thanks for your opinion. I've tried Manjaro but I really don't liked it. But #Endeavour was good. So maybe I could give it another try (and says that BTW I use Arch 😁). As you said I don't have much time (and knowledges ?) to build #ArcLinux from scratch. My daily distro right now is Fedora.

Endeavour with Plasma on Wayland is very nice and very usable with minimal customization required, highly recommend. Fedora is also really nice if you're going for stability though. Personally the thing that drove me back from pop was my love, the AUR.

Yes Fedora is a good compromise of stability and new technologies. But rolling releases like Endeavour are interesting. But maybe with more bugs...? Thank you. I will try it again for sure !

Installing vanilla arch is not too hard if you follow the wiki! But it is time consuming, and can be really frustrating (especially with Nvidia cards)
