When I was at the Met last week, I overheard a kid asking his dad why the shoulder was so big on this armor. Dad didn’t know, so I butted in that this is specifically an armor for the joust. Many questions and facts later, dad asks, “how do you know all this?” Well, sir… I’m a nerd. 🤷‍♀️
