Chutzpah, like Salmond's, is the greatest gift an aspiring political leader can have in their arsenal. Those who don't have it look all the more deficient for trying it out as a method of public engagement. Sarwar's cringey dentist 'jokes' and Regan's Independence Thermometer still make me shudder.
