@redigit.bsky.social in the next Terraria update could you add a setting to bind dash to a button on controller? My right arm is messed up and so I play 95% of the game with my left hand it would be great if I could bind – to start or something like that. Because there’s no way to dash with my palm - ThreadSky

I love that you are still gaming! I think they make specialized one handed controllers, have you looked at any of them?

I’ll see what we can do about the dash. No promises, we are really bunkering down to get this update finished right now.

Awesome, thanks for responding. I don’t feel like I need a one-handed controller. I can one hand an Xbox controller just fine. It’s just that double tapping the stick is not easy. Can’t wait for the update. I will be doing my first summoner only playthrough when it comes out.

I basically play like the image above, except my right thumb is on jump. So as you can probably guess dashing is not really that feasible with this set up because I can’t move my entire palm that fast so I’d be great if there was a setting to bind it to a single button press on controller.

Totally understand if you don’t, though, it’s a real niche issue. I just figured I’d ask. I’m a big fan of terraria. i’ve been playing it since the console version came out and I’ve always hated not having a dash.
