Honestly the playstation controller with FF 9 is such a mood. I usually use my ps5 controller for my steam deck and play games. Really makes me feel like I'm 20 years in the past.

There's an interview with Michelle Zauner of Japanese Breakfast in where she's asked if she's been playing any games during the pandemic. She said she was playing through her favorite game of all time again which happened to be FFIX.

Also Karen O of YYYs also says she is not a big gamer, but when she was growing up she'd watch her brother play Final Fantasy and she was so attached to the story it would get her emotional and she'd get excited and cheer when he'd beat a boss.
FF just has the special sauce for people born in SK 😂
