Omg! Yes! When I was in elementary school, chili and cinnamon roll day was the only day I ate school lunches 😋 (in Wyoming in the early 80s)

Hit up Omaha, it’s a serious foodie town. And down the road in Lincoln is The Dish, which has a seasonal menu that’s fantastic. Or if you want the college town vibe in Lincoln, go to Yia-Yia’s Pizza or Bisonwitches.

This was a regular school breakfast in eastern Washington too. It's 100x better than it sounds, the two things paired together hit basically every flavor profile at once. I'd still be eating it if I wasn't gluten intolerant
