OTOH, a huge thing in teh 1960s was how the anti Vietnam war and civil rights movements were full of mansplaining men who expected women to be in the Kitchen
Men were hoping that the sexual revolution would free them from obligation and restraint. Women were hoping it would free them from judgement. The polarity switched from repression to lack of restraint so fast that consent or lacktherof was often disregarded. And women were still judged.
And generally they wanted to be issued a specific woman, such as the hottest girl in their class. Not the girl who sat next to them and picked her nose while failing math.
Certainly a specific phenotype of woman. They’re willing to condescend to accept the hottest girl from *any* school! As long, of course, as other men agree, because half of the point is performativity for other men.
