Kerlingarfjöll is the most amazing area, but I agree, it smells like rotten eggs😆
This is a shot I would have enormous difficulty in getting myself because I found out that I have an allergy to sulfur. A visit to New Zealand in 2017 meant my time in Rotorua made me sick. (I had visited Yellowstone before that but dismissed it as motion sickness)
Maybe mask would help

I do want to go to Iceland...but unlike a lot of photographers, I'll avoid the geothermals.
