Eeek! I used the manga to practice drawing water and shiny things in high school! It was happened to be the kick in the pants to get back into traditional drawing a few years back. ✨
This is wonderful. Magic Knights Rayearth was a formative part of my anime experience in the 1990s and beloved because I was playing DnD at the time. Your style fits that subject matter well despite looking very different to CLAMP and this drawing really captures the melancholy around Emeraude.
This was an excellent show that I watched without subtitles on VHS while I was studying Japanese in the late 90s. Just fantastic. To this day I love it.
