As always, sweatshops and accounts played with macros with supervision and multiple accounts funneling resources into a main account. Probably being paid below minimum wage by US standard. It's very exploitative, like being a ghost writer for celebrities

There is this large cottage industry of people offering services around games, some white hat (coaching) and some black hat (account boosting) and I can’t help but wonder what the labor conditions are like for those fields. Gaming tends to have pretty awful work conditions across fields

idk if you meant to solicit a real response but paid coaching in the game i played can range from 10 to 50 USD an hour to review a match together in a discord call + sometimes monetizing the recordings of said sessions

it's distressing how on the whole even outside of elon's case people focus on "wow how scummy of this person to get boosted" instead of caring about the people performing the service. too many people see the gamer cred to be the most important aspect of the whole kerfuffle which sucks
